Overview: IGN is looking for an experienced Line Producer to handle scoping and oversight of internal and sponsored productions and events. This role will manage all aspects of productions from scheduling, booking, and hiring to wrap. The Line Producer is responsible for the management of multiple projects from kick-off to completion.

 

Experience:

         Prior experience as a line producer within a digital and/or integrated marketing/advertising agency (required)

         Experience in line producing and project management for video productions

         Experience in booking production crews, gears, and locations

         Must have an intimate knowledge of production procedures, guidelines, and releases

         Must have a working knowledge of production needs for short form video

         Must have a working knowledge of production needs for short large scale events

         PMP Certification or any agile project management certification(s) (desired)

         Experience developing and managing project plans, budgets, and resource plans

         Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects across multiple teams

         Ability to keep key team members on task and on-time

         Ability to work with clients directly when called upon (client-facing)

         Ability to identify, communicate, and resolve project issues by developing solutions instead of pointing out challenges

         In-depth understanding of what resources to pull into a project and when

         Must be able to work and communicate with creative teams to break down tasks and facilitate the resolution of issues

         Create the conditions of great work without compromising budgets or timing

         Lead and organize efficient internal meetings

         Develop tasks lists, status reports & meeting notes

         High-level cross-discipline knowledge of strategy, requirements gathering, content strategy, production, technology, analytics and quality assurance

 

Responsibilities:

         Scope the total production costs, staffing, and timing for internal and sponsored projects and special events.

         Oversee correspondence and communications during productions to ensure deadlines and budgets are met

         Coordinate teams in times of production to ensure things are running efficiently and effectively

         Oversee daily operations, budgets, and schedules for production

         Maintain production calendars

         Create and coordinate lists to track production gear and inventory

         Oversee maintenance and deliveries of official forms, documents, and all paperwork related to production

         Work with production teams to maintain production calendars

         Oversee budgets, reports, and documentation related to production

         Ensure all aspects and requirements of production are met on time and within the established scope.

         Managing a prioritizing multiple projects and tasks across multiple productions and clients.

         Keep key team members on task and on schedule.

         Liaise with both Branded and Core teams to ensure strong collaboration on Branded opportunities.

         Manage a variety of projects across different platforms and media, from video to print to social.

         Oversight on Branded integrations on Core projects (e.g. sponsored Daily Fix segments.)

         Build robust full run production schedules for major productions and long-lead projects.

         Maintain comprehensive production notes and learnings.

         Collaborate with Sr. Manager of Programming, Production Coordinators and cross-functional PM’s to ensure resources are properly allocated to meet all production needs across the Content team.
