PRIME is a healthcare education and research company that provides continuing professional development (CME/CE) for the interprofessional team while identifying the barriers that prevent patients from receiving optimal care and working with experts to solve these problems throughout entire health systems. The company has been advancing the science of learning and behavior change in health care for 25 years.

PRIME is seeking a Grant Coordinator who will work closely with the Grant Manager to plan, coordinate, and obtain required information from various departments and staff members to fulfill grant submission requirements. This position will serve as the backup to the Grant Manager and will assist departments throughout the company with requests related to the preparation and fulfillment of grants.

Position Duties:

  • Participate in overall grant review and submission process to external customers; interact with relevant departments to obtain the necessary information to successfully complete grant submissions
  • Develop, review and finalize, grant submission sections according to supporters’ grant portal requirements, including grant summaries, letters of intent, eg.
  • Adapt grant documents to meet requirements of different supporter needs and portals
  • Provide monthly/quarterly grant status updates on active projects in supporter systems (i.e. reporting on overall project status, audience generation strategies, attendance/distribution, etc.)
  • Continuously organize and track PRIME’s pending grant submissions and history spreadsheets
  • Assist in preparation of grant template documents for upcoming grant development needs
  • Assist in the grant reconciliation process, by providing required project deliverables: outcomes reports, participant metrics, and program materials
  • Identify Request for Proposals (RFPs) or Call for Grant Applications (CGAs) within relevant therapeutic areas
  • Support the Scientific Affairs and Business Development teams in researching potential grant opportunities by reviewing Calls for Proposals by pharmaceutical companies, pharmaceutical pipelines, transparency reports, and grant websites
  • Process payment requests for milestone completion related to ongoing projects
  • Provide detailed project summaries to Business Development personnel as needed 
  • Identify potential partner collaborations by researching and identifying organizations, societies, associations, and alike to find aligned goals based on project requirements
  • Coordinate partner specifications and requests with internal stakeholders prior to each grant submission
  • Prepare detailed and accurate agendas and provide supporting documentation to prepare leadership for participation in partnership outreach or update calls
  • Support project plans and timelines when needed, such as in planning, implementation, and ongoing support of programs
  • Other ad hoc requests as needed

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from 4-year institution
  • 1-3 years professional work experience; experience with grant submissions preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required
  • Strong communication, project management, and monitoring skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adhere to deadlines
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent command of the English written language

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity for efficient/regular use of computer, keyboard, printer and other office equipment
