IGN is looking for a self-motivated professional to source, sign, and maintain a collection of unique partner offers in support of site membership growth, as well as growth of IGN’s paid subscription service. This role will establish and build relationships with key ecommerce merchants and game publishers in order to grow a calendar of member deals across key IGN categories.

Job Duties

 

The Partner Offers Manager is responsible for developing and following a structured, process-driven approach for sourcing and signing third party partnerships, made available to IGN members and across our paid subscription platform. This role focuses on building a compelling pipeline of discounts, giveaways, and mutually-beneficial member deals.

 

        Source and assess new partnership opportunities from an existing personal network and introductions from senior leadership, sales, and corporate development

        Negotiate and complete both one-off and long term deals in accordance with IGN’s existing legal framework

        Collaborate with internal sales and commerce teams to layer new partnership opportunities onto existing sales IOs and affiliate commerce relationships

        Work with metrics team to build reporting and track results, sharing KPIs internally and with partners

        Keep in regular contact with existing partners to maintain positive relationships

        Coordinate with internal teams on launching, marketing, and messaging new partner offers

        Coordinate with Director of Membership to gather community feedback and sentiment around existing offers, to continually inform the program’s future direction

 

Requirements and Expectations

 

Outgoing, highly organized individuals who enjoy building relationships and networking will thrive in this role.

 

        Previous experience in online media sales, marketing, or partner relations is required

        Strong oral and written communication skills

        A positive, proactive attitude with an ability to creatively find mutually beneficial solutions for both IGN and its partners

        Team player able to collaborate with outbound sales

        Strong organizational skills with an aptitude for juggling multiple programs and partnerships at various lifecycle stages.

        General proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, PPT, Word required (Photoshop is a plus), as well as the ability to quickly understand and learn any proprietary IGN software programs.

 

Nice-to-Haves

 

        Personal or professional experience with video games, comic books, anime, etc. would be beneficial

This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.
