Overview:

This key sales role is responsible for cultivating business to business relationships with resellers to build a portfolio of net new business. The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated individual who can thrive in a dynamic, high growth, industry. 


The role is directly responsible for the dealings with both resellers and their customers in finding and building a pipeline of net new business. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of the channel and reseller market, operational processes, and partner community ecosystems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Hunter mentality
  • Manage the assigned accounts to consistently perform at or above quota
  • Maintain a high retention rate as a priority
  • High velocity out-bound sales
  • Identify new prospective channel partnerships and opportunities
  • Develop growth strategies and a business plan 
  • Manage and educate channel partners regarding our full line of products 
  • Daily call, email and demonstration tasks required with activity reporting
  • Present effective QBR’s to executive management 
  • Identify and implement programs/activities to supplement desired outcomes; coordinated with marketing
  • Manage partner issues and escalations.
  • Manage partnership reporting
  • Stay current on company and industry product knowledge
  • Additional responsibilities as needed

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years channel sales experience 
  • Able to work independently
  • Sales or professional work experience in sales, marketing, or customer service 
  • Track record of success in strategic planning and managing sales forecast in meeting of exceeding goals
  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong persuasive skills and ability to influence decision makers
  • Self-motivated team player
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Minimal travel required

Preferred Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 5+ years channel experience
  • Extensive knowledge of channel market and SaaS products, including antivirus, endpoint protection, and security awareness training
