The Opportunity

Everyday Health is looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive key initiatives for commerce and lead generation across BabyCenter and What to Expect on our mobile apps and websites.  The Senior Product Manager will provide leadership across the organization driving opportunities that bring our users closer to the purchase conversion for our clients with a focus on Baby Registry and Commerce to start.  The Senior Program Manager will drive all stages of the product development lifecycle from identifying and translating user and client needs into detailed product requirements.  They will work with cross-functional teams including research, design, engineering, sales, marketing, business development, analytics, and vendors to build, launch and optimize new products and features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stay abreast of industry, competitive, and consumer trends in the digital publishing space with a focus on pregnancy & parenting markets.
  • Identify new & engaging products balancing the needs of monetization models with the consumer experience.
  • Lead ideation through user research, analytics, industry and market data.
  • Communicate across the organization the importance behind projects and foster effective cross-functional communication and collaboration.
  • Drive product initiatives using agile development methods, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
  • Create and prioritize a product backlog, developing detailed product stories, and launch high-quality features and products.
  • Determine metrics of success for each product and follow up with an analysis of metrics and next steps.
  • Run experiments to test or optimize ideas, ensuring the team meets overall goals.


Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years in B2C digital product management managing the roadmap lifecycle from ideation, prioritization, requirements gathering, risk mitigation, release, and optimization.  Background with websites, mobile apps, and ad/marketing tech needed.  Specific experience with digital commerce and/or affiliate networks preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills in mid-sized organizations.
  • Ability to thrive in a landscape of rapid evolution including business models, product needs, and internal processes.
  • Deep experience with lean UX and agile product development methodologies across product discovery, research, and validation including strong analytical skills, A/B, and user testing methodologies, and a strong grasp of monetization models.
  • Experience working with external vendors with a solid understanding of technical integration documents (e.g. feeds or APIs).
