DIGITAL DESIGNER - Job Description

IGN is looking for an exceptional Digital Designer to work within our creative solutions team. To excel in this role you must be able to work on multiple projects at once, design for digital, develop for the web and communicate ideas clearly both verbally and in written form. You will work alongside the global design teams, project managers and sales teams.

The successful candidate will need to be self-reliant and confident, whilst being a proactive team player that’s keen to maintain the high standards we strive for with each campaign we deliver. You will be working simultaneously on multiple campaigns so excellent time management and organisation is critical, as is a creative mind and an obsessive attention to detail.

Responsibilities Include:

  • ●  Generating creative ideas and concepts to fulfil the advertising and marketing needs of our clients

  • ●  Leading in the creation of site graphics, banner ads, microsites and developing the final product

  • ●  Designing and creating compelling digital mockups that will help sell a concept through

  • ●  Executing designs from initial concept all the way through to final working builds

  • ●  Building ads, articles, microsites using front end tools such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript

  • ●  Participating in meetings and presentations to the global team

  • ●  Working closely with the Sales team and participating in client-facing calls to help ideate

    first-to-market design executions and form a productive creative partnership with our clients

  • ●  Managing a small team

    Desired Skills and Experience:

  • ●  4+ years experience working in digital media

  • ●  Strong design ability and fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator

  • ●  Experience with Celtra, Ceros or similar digital building tools

  • ●  A working proficiency in front end web development, specifically HTML, CSS and JavaScript

  • ●  Knowledge of DFP/Google Ad Manager

  • ●  Strong project management skills and deadline oriented

  • ●  Strong ability to handle multiple projects from concept through to completion

  • ●  Excellent conceptual thinking and problem solving skills

  • ●  Excellent interpersonal abilities to effectively communicate with all internal and external teams

  • ●  Self-motivated, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently

  • ●  Intimate knowledge of online and mobile advertising with proven ability to create compelling,

    sophisticated products

  • ●  Up-to-date understanding of the changing digital landscape as it pertains to design, advertising

    and development changes

  • ●  Superior eye for image editing and use of photography

Experience working alongside, and managing, freelancers

This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.
