Reporting to Engineering/Product Management organization, the Technical Project Manager will be responsible for successful delivery of Migration projects within Campaigner®. This role requires the successful candidate to be experienced with complex projects requiring significant attention to detail. The project manager will manage multiple projects at a given time. Projects will be cross functional and will require coordination of resources outside of j2 Global. Project manager should be very familiar with technology driven management.

The project manager must be able to work with a minimal amount of supervision and drive time frames. Communication skills and time management are essential to success in this position. Projects will involve coordination between engineering, product management, client success, support, operations, and billing.

Job Duties:

  • Manage and drive internal resources and external parties upon who successful project delivery are dependent.
  • Initiate, plan and manage assigned projects to successful completion.
  • Drive project delivery and ensure excellence in project deliverables.
  • Effectively and completely communicate project status, issues, accomplishments, budgets, risks, etc.
  • Follow processes established for the initiation, tracking, planning, execution, and release of projects.
  • Develop or manage the development of project documentation and artifacts (e.g. project proposals, project plans, status reports, requirements and design specifications, training documentation, customer communications).
  • Collect and post project documentation on internal wiki.
  • Schedule and run meetings for ongoing and prospective projects.
  • Provide status updates to management, to team members, to stakeholders, and to interested parties.
  • Track completion of deliverables and adherence to timelines; track milestones and timelines across projects and provide recommendations when necessary to meet project deliverable expectations.
  • Proactively identify changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken to reassess, renegotiate and amend scope of work responsibilities.
  • Identify, establish and maintain business relationships and promote inter-departmental cooperation.

Work with Product team to coordinate product deliverables with migrations.

Job or Project Requirements and Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in a Technical Environment with 5+ years as a Project Manager.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Excellent presentation skills are required; candidate must be well versed in Microsoft Office products and will be required to develop process documentation.
  • Experience with Confluence is an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, team building, influence, and decision making skills are required.
  • Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP) is preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
