The Marketing Manager is a member of the Program Implementation Department and reports to the Vice President, Program Implementation. He/she oversees the attendee generation and recruitment for educational programs; that may include, regional symposia, webinars and online programs.  He/she works independently to coordinate, create, modify, and approve communication materials related to the company’s educational products and services.  He/she follows through to ensure that deadlines are met and deliverables meet specifications and expectations of the Vice President, Program Implementation. He/she is responsible for developing initiating dissemination and promotional strategies required to meet company objectives and grant or contract goals. He/she works with various departments and personnel to conceptualize, design, execute, and manage, communications deliverables for internal public relations and marketing, as well as for external project and program objectives.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for all day-to-day activities involved in the genesis of promotional and dissemination materials.  He/she will create and manage the marketing plans to achieve contractual traffic goals for all provider and/or patient education programs.  He/she will track delivery on an ongoing basis and adjust the marketing strategy accordingly to maximize learner conversion and ROI.  He/she will oversee the production of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns and reports marketing results to senior leadership.  He/she will identify the ongoing need for, and develops or coordinates public relations materials, including press releases, website changes/edits, marketing collateral, and presentations for customer updates. The Marketing Manager works in tandem with internal personnel to ensure timely planning, execution and distribution of marketing and communication products, services, and collateral materials.

Position Duties:

  • Assume overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Education Solutions Specialists
  • Conceptualize, design, execute, and manage communications deliverables for internal public relations and customer-facing communications
  • Conceptualize, design, execute, and manage, communications deliverables for external project and program objectives
  • Identify the ongoing need for, and coordinate timelines and resource allocation for internal and external marketing and public relations communications
  • Tracks all marketing analytics and data to create detailed written reports and verbal communications to senior leadership
  • Oversee and develop a variety of communication materials including web content, email promotions, invitations, publications, newsletters, postcards/mailers, and other materials, as well as manage production and dissemination
  • Evaluate customer research, competitor data, conversion metrics, and marketing spend to effectively plan and implement dissemination and promotional plans to meet company objectives, deliver grant/contract metrics goals, maximize learner conversion, and maximize ROI
  • Oversee the coordination with print vendors to establish competitive quotes, efficient production schedules, and timely delivery of quality materials
  • Monitor and maintain accurate databases of appropriate intended audiences for all educational activities and programs
  • Review, edit and format PowerPoint slides, program collateral materials, invitations, and other materials to achieve high quality educational products
  • Provide timely Q/A testing to program web pages, program registration pages and online programs to ensure accuracy and reliability of company programming and services
  • Other duties as assigned

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimal Bachelors’ degree in a related field (Communications, Marketing, English, or minimal 5 years’ experience in traditional, print/web marketing, communications, multimedia
  • Demonstrated creativity and the ability to think outside the box
  • Current knowledge of marketing and communications best practices in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Current knowledge in the healthcare industry
  • Excellent written, oral and computer communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, including project triage, coordination, and management skills
  • Proficiency in multi-tasking and balancing/managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and using design applications including PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
