We are looking for a high-performing Director of Strategy and Operations to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative.  This individual will be responsible for moving our sales team forward by constructing sales plans, analyzing industry trends, and leveraging data for direction and coaching. 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales and business leadership to create a comprehensive strategy plan to help drive the sales team to achieve and exceed required revenue and sales goals for overall territory.
  • Hire, train, coach, develop, motivate, review, and retain Account Coordinator Team.
  • Travel to client sites and conferences to support sales team and further drive client success.
  • Drive strategy with sales, marketing and partnerships teams developing go to market strategies that will grow revenue and increase market share.
  • Ensure that we are providing meaningful products and solutions and packaging them together in a way that maximizes revenue for the company.
  • Understand trends in physician labor supply and demand and generate actionable insights that will put proper context around our customer ROI and help inform what new partnerships to target.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create presentations, white papers, and other assets that will facilitate sales growth.
  • Customize strategic proposals that exceed client expectations and maximize revenue for the company, especially focused on our key accounts.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of our value proposition, products, and capabilities.
  • Develop relationships and collaborate closely with key internal departments in Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Accounting, Engineering, and Product.
  • Maintain comprehensive and current knowledge of all sales activities, reporting, and vendor relationships.
  • Utilize Salesloft, Hubspot, Salesforce, and Tableau to regularly report to sales team and management team all activities, product performance, data and reporting.
  • Explore third party tools to ensure sales team has best in class technology to meet and exceed revenue expectations.  
  • Keep account coordination and operation team informed about the business and items influencing their ability and opportunity to perform.

 Job Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

  • Understanding of business to business sales cycle.
  • 5+ years of successfully managing a book of business and new business sales.
  • 5+ years experience managing a sales team that achieved or exceeded sales results.
  • 5+ years successfully managing strategy and operations within a sales environment.
  • The capacity to coach and lead individuals and teams towards KPI’s.
  • The understanding of driving sales initiatives through the full product life cycle through leveraging multiple stakeholders in an organization.
  • The ability to successfully execute a sales strategy throughout a sales organization.
  • Strong conviction in team and individual growth.
  • Solid knowledge and experience of Healthcare sales and marketing, including: sales presentations, pricing models, technology trends, healthcare trends, customer buying patterns, budgeting, planning skills, competitive strategies, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to build successful teams through excellent recruitment, development, coaching and performance management skills.
  • Strong leadership, people skills, strategy, with exceptional business acumen.
  • The ability to build trust through communication and execution throughout an organization.
  • Strong customer orientation and positive, strategic thinker.

  • Competency in using common software programs, such as G Suite and/or Microsoft Suite,, Salesloft, Tableau, or other CRMs, etc.

 Desired Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • 5+ years sales experience in the healthcare and/or recruitment advertising markets.
  • 5+ years of successful management

Material and Equipment Directly Used

Requires the use of office equipment, including a laptop computer with docking station, monitor, keyboard and mouse, handheld device, fax, copier, and telephone.

Working Environment/Physical Activities

Office environment; travel required. Travel requires the ability to transport a laptop and peripherals and handheld device.
