Serves as an expert on both the healthcare and digital media industry with a focus on leveraging market and audience insights to develop a robust long-term product and new vertical roadmap aimed at building a strong ongoing value proposition to support the needs of Everyday Health Professional clients.   Responsible for working cross-functionally to optimize our overall go-to-market strategy in conjunction with the Product and Development teams.   The platforms employed will include but are not limited to native advertising, digital media campaigns, email campaigns, and other tactics aimed at increasing physician awareness and utilization of specific pharmaceutical brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for new product strategy development and overall pipeline ownership including:
    • Future product and new vertical roadmap development
    • Market and Customer needs-based product ideation
    • Launch implementation owner overseeing product charter with expertise in leveraging disciplined product development and marketing launch model
    • Data-driven, feasibility assessment in partnership with product and development teams
    • Consultant to teams overseeing go-to-market and commercialization stages
    • Product launch measurement and ongoing learning/optimization focused on seamless implementation, field and customer adoption, overall revenue generation, and HCP engagement with client brand messages
  • Oversees long-term market analysis including pharma and HCP trends, as well as the overall digital media industry.
    • Partners with cross-functional partners to understand key media, editorial and audience insights
    • Insights inform both digital media future product roadmap planning and new vertical identification/business development
    • Critical team member in working to ensure EDH Pro achieves and maintains a leadership position in understanding market and audience insights to drive innovative solutions in the healthcare digital media industry
  • Motivates and mobilizes cross-functional resources as part of the go-to-market process and overall new product marketing management.
  • Industry thought leadership including development of white papers and industry articles as well as industry conference/panel participation

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5-7 year’s experience in HCP promotion or medical education, with a focus on digital products, platforms, and/or media.
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical brand marketing plans, objectives, and success metrics and applications to HCP mindsets and needs by specialty and care setting
  • Passion for new and emerging technologies and an understanding of how they can be applied to benefit businesses.
  • Strives to constantly drive deeper market and audience understanding, applying knowledge to all product strategies and vehicles; able to help build market/audience knowledge intimacy across all functions
  • Envisions long-term growth opportunities and is able to identify the top key factors driving product performance; ability to build key concepts and trends into strategic vision with an external focus on gaining a competitive advantage and driving advances in pipeline development
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking demonstrated by the ability to effectively identify patterns or key concepts in disparate information, trends and discrepancies, and in ability to pull together ideas/issues and data into a concise story
  • Is respected as a leader in healthcare digital media product/business innovation
  • Ability to overcome obstacles to launch new products leveraging use of processes to drive project decisions & timelines
  • Skilled at driving innovative thinking even under difficult circumstances, empowering cross-functional teams to drive innovation
