Health eCareers is looking for a Senior Product Manager with demonstrated success in building awesome, scalable web and mobile applications that resonate with users. We are looking for a high-energy, strategic, and detail-oriented individual with exceptional product management skills who will be able to spearhead product initiatives across organizational boundaries to achieve business goals.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing the product roadmap, customer journeys, requirements, user experience, and ultimate success of the Health eCareers products. This role is inherently cross-functional: you will work closely with the engineering, design, marketing, legal, customer service, outside vendors, IT, and executive teams to launch and maintain advanced products and feature.

A successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, analytical, effective communicator, resourceful, creative, customer-focused, team-oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints and evolving business needs to meet deadlines. He/she must have the ability to understand and discuss business ideas, technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate concepts with internal and external partners/stakeholders while being able to easily jump between day-to-day tactics and long-term vision building..

Essential Functions:

  • Understand and analyze internal and external user needs through data analysis, user studies and market research
  • Help define internal and user facing product vision and strategy, and build consensus among multiple teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and business development
  • Manage the overall success and lifecycle of the product - definition, design, customer journey, requirements, documentation, launch, GTM activities, management updates and KPIs - through proper planning and management
  • Make smart features (customer experience) versus time-to-market trade-offs; experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (technology, design, sales, marketing, finance and project management) to help create the product roadmap, business and functional requirements, high level wireframes and prototypes
  • Develop a thorough understanding of market segments, Job seekers verticals, continually assessing the competitive landscape, and emerging industry trends

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field required
  • MBA or Master’s degree in strategy management or related field preferred
  • Certification in Agile and Scrum development practices would be a huge plus
  • Minimum 8+ years of product management, development, engineering, or marketing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in digital media space
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience utilizing data and analytics to formulate program objectives, solve business problems, and drive business growth
  • Must have technical fluency; ability to understand and discuss architectural concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members
  • Up to date and knowledgeable about the latest trends, innovations and best practices in the digital advertising and marketing technology systems along with solid understanding of the online/digital advertising ecosystem, including advertising metrics, integration of tracking instrumentation across channels and how ads are bought, sold and delivered
  • Drive new and innovative ways to sell, serve, target, optimize and measure ad campaigns on multiple platforms
  • Experience in data analytics and the ability to bring best practices regarding data management, data governance, and third party API integrations
  • A curious and highly motivated self-starter who can work effectively across cross-functional teams and can independently drive projects toward completion with proper planning and management
  • Strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
