The Channel Sales Enablement Representative (CSER) is the first impression of VIPRE to the prospective reseller! The CSER’s primary responsibility is to recruit and engage with prospective resellers to help turn leads into qualified opportunities by partnering with sales and marketing to create and execute on program and lead generation campaigns. In addition, the CSER will drive growth of underperforming current resellers of VIPRE products

In this role, it is essential to be a highly motivated self-starter that is result-oriented, versatile, and motivated to drive and grow business within North America. Front-end work that requires a strategic, researched-based approach to be successful.

This role will report directly to the Director of Channel and Distribution

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generating leads (inbound and outbound) in a designated geographical area or business sector through high-volume touch points including call campaigns, emails and social media (80 to 100 touch points daily).
  • Develop and execute on a strong prospecting plan of attack, including email and call scripts.
  • Respond, engage and qualify leads and inquiries at initial stages in the sales funnel for Channel Managers.
  • Engage current VIPRE resellers to expand awareness, educate, identify new opportunities and develop account intelligence.
  • Scheduling meetings and product demonstration with potential resellers.
  • Work closely with, and transition prospective leads, to Channel Manager(s) for approval with detailed information.
  • Drive attendance to events and webinars.
  • Consistently achieve quotas to achieve revenue objectives.
  • Quickly learn the VIPRE products, effectively communicate the value proposition and be able to react to objections and competitive questions.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to collaborate with various Channel Managers and partner sizes (SMB, VAR, DMR).
  • Capability of understanding reseller pain points, requirements and correlating value add that VIPRE can provide.
  • Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables. Brings new ideas to the company.
  • Must have working knowledge of Windows, MS Office and CRM.
  • Excellent phone presence.
  • Good understanding of social media utilization.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and human relation skills, including verbal and written communications.
  • Courage to challenge the status quo when logic and reason require it.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience of working within a high-velocity inside sales environment.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, DiscoverOrg, CompTIA, LinkedIN, etc.
  • Background in Security software sales is a plus.
  • Strong desire to compete and win.


Education and/or Certification Requirements:

  • HS Diploma required.
  • Two (2) or Four (4) year college degree preferred or comparable work experience.
