iContact is searching for a content creation specialist to assist our clients with their various email and social media marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate can motivate a reader to act through words. We love creative thinkers and folks ready to dig in and figure out a niche industry. They should be customer-centric and confident speaking to clients about their goals, project needs and final deliverables. Delivering exceptional content to our valued clients will require a strong time management strategy and the ability to juggle competing priorities with ease. We want excellent communicators, both with our clients and internally; after all, we connect through our words. This is a great opportunity to get marketing and content creation experience while working with a variety of clients and industries in a SaaS environment.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with clients to create a content marketing strategy based on their business goals and available resources
  • Working within allocated time blocks to create content deliverables for clients
  • Ability to research industry and provide email, social or web copy in the client’s voice
  • Presenting and executing ideas for optimizing social posts
  • Writing industry blog posts and press releases
  • Helping clients increase the number of social media followers and their engagement
  • Support Strategic Advisors (consultants) and Sales Executives by participating in strategy calls and promoting content services to obtain new business and grow existing revenue

Requirements:

  • Portfolio of written work or writing sample(s) demonstrating ability to write blog, email, social copy and/or social calendar creation.
  • Knowledge of social media marketing and content strategy. Knowing what it takes to make a campaign go viral is essential.
  • Thorough understanding and experience with key social media platforms; including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.
  • Solid written and oral communication skills.
  • Top notch prioritization and time-management skills
  • Creative thinking & ability to contribute to brainstorming meetings
  • Ability to work to actively collaborate with other teams to deliver value to clients
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Experience with Hootsuite, Buffer, or other social media management tools preferred
  • Experience with email or marketing software preferred
