BabyCenter, part of the Pregnancy and Parenting Division of Everyday Health Group, is looking for a Senior Editor who is passionate about creating content for the pregnancy and parenting audience. As part of our team, you'll play a key role in reaching millions of new and expecting parents and developing trusted, up-to-date content for our site, apps, and e-mail.

 What You'll Do:

  • Plan, edit, and track updates to broad areas of content, working with experts on our Medical Advisory Board to ensure accuracy  
  • Repackage and refresh existing articles to perform well in search, using tools such as SEMRush as part of our Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy.
  • Recruit new talent and manage freelancers who write health and lifestyle articles for the site
  • Program management: Manage project budgets, contracts, and invoicing

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years editorial experience. Experience with pregnancy, parenting, or health content is a plus, but not required.
  • Prior use of SEO-optimization tools and strategies for YMYL websites
  • Ability to produce engaging, accurate copy
  • Comfortable authoring in content management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excitement working in a fast-paced, data-driven work environment
