Director of Growth Marketing

The Opportunity
Health eCareers is looking for an experienced Director of Marketing to lead our B2C marketing team. This team is responsible for driving user growth and engagement across our audience of physician and advanced practice provider job seekers. The role reports to the VP of Marketing and is an integral part of our marketing team, responsible for managing multiple paid and organic marketing channels, testing new strategies, tactics, and campaigns, working closely with our product team to optimize our funnel, and helping Health eCareers advance its position as the leading career resource for health care professionals. This is a fully remote role and a great opportunity for an independent, self-starter that loves to build and develop consumer audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic direction of marketing and growth across the company driving acquisition, brand awareness, and engagement across multiple channels for our key physician and advanced practice provider job seeker audiences
  • Oversee the strategy, management, and optimization of paid marketing efforts across digital, search, social, display, and new channels.
  • Oversee email marketing and organic strategies across SEO, and partner marketing to grow job seeker applications and engagement with related online professional career content and resources
  • Drive social strategy and collaborate with the content team to align paid, editorial, and organic social efforts
  • Meticulously lead management and optimization of marketing budget and optimize CAC via efficient paid and unpaid acquisition channels
  • Lead strategy and growth of customer engagement and retention initiatives (Email, Post Acquisition Journey, etc.)
  • Help define and expand marketing activities with consideration for new job seeker segments as part of continued growth strategy
  • Partner with the VP of Marketing on B2C marketing strategy, forecasting and budgeting for all marketing programs
  • Partner with the Product team on developing go to market strategies; define, prioritize, and manage website initiatives to support marketing channels and funnel conversion goals; and implement effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies.
  • Manage team that leads all marketing efforts that support our critically important association partners to drive new partner acquisition, user growth and user engagement
  • Evaluate marketing channels, campaigns, and tactics through thoughtful data analysis and use insights to focus efforts solely on activities that drive results
  • Rigorously measure and report on KPIs (e.g., CPA, ROAS) on daily, weekly, and monthly basis in support of growth goals
  • Collaborate with partnerships, product, sales, and other internal teams as needed in order to achieve key objectives
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8 years or more experience in growth marketing, direct response, or related
  • Highly analytical and data-driven
  • Experience managing a variety of organic and paid marketing channels
  • Experience leading engagement and retention marketing initiatives
  • Ability to define and execute strategy and deliver results against goals
  • Must be strong in Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, and PowerPoint
  • Experience identifying and measuring SEO opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate strategies and outcomes regularly to leadership and throughout the organization
  • MBA preferred
