Ziff Davis Commerce is seeing a passionate, results-oriented individual that wants to make a difference to develop and manage performance-driven paid search campaigns across multiple verticals. This position requires an experienced manager with comprehensive paid search marketing experience, an inquisitive and detail-oriented nature, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to identify patterns, develop insights and build growth plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Grow and Manage Team

  • Lead, inspire and manage paid search team to ensure individual goals are met, campaigns are successful, and to foster a cooperative learning environment
  • Develop competitive digital marketing strategy and build an effective marketing funnel, enabling repeatable, predictable revenue growth with adherence to best-in-class practices, maximizing performance across hundreds of campaigns
  • Own all process documentation as related to the team’s development and communication, and seek out teamwide optimization opportunities
  • Conduct regular training sessions and check-ins to encourage growth

 Analyze and Make Decisions Based on Data

  • Monitor and audit team’s daily ad spend to ensure efficient management and positive revenue/commission and profit output
  • Use large data sets and your imagination to identify opportunities for campaign optimizations
  • Accurately model, forecast, and achieve monthly revenue targets and goals. Manage the digital marketing budget, providing data-driven guidance and recommendations on program budget investments, allocations, and changes as needed
  • Provide monthly reporting, analysis, and actionable insights to the team and senior management
  • Perform statistical analysis using A/B testing or multivariate methods to identify opportunities and develop strategies for maximizing performance across hundreds of campaigns

 Improve Efficiency and Grow Our Business

  • Partner with internal teams to help improve user website experience, increase conversion rates, and develop external relationships
  • Assist with improving the proprietary reports and tools we use to manage our business
  • Assist Partner/Sales Team in securing new and retaining existing search partners as a search expert and brand advocate

Test New Advertising Platforms

  • Conduct other online marketing initiatives, such as display, social, GDN and social media ads, to increase both performance marketing volume and brand awareness
  • Test and improve performance creatively and systematically based on short term and long term goals and objectives

REQUIREMENTS

  • Technical and experienced digital marketing leader with 5+ years of managing a team, 8+ years of paid search marketing required and 10+ years of overall job experience
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and optimizing digital marketing initiatives
  • MBA degree in marketing research, economics, statistics or mathematics is preferred
  • Expert-level understanding of paid search best practices and strategy in the context of performance marketing
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency
