Position at Ziff Davis

This position will be responsible for designing stunning collateral & assisting with the creative vision for general sales materials, client proposals, & presentations created for Ziff Davis’ portfolio of brands including IGN, Mashable, and PCMag. The ideal candidate will be a creative individual with a passion for & knowledge of digital & social media.

They will have the ability to communicate effectively through visual storytelling and the versatility to work across multiple platforms to create compelling visual materials that communicates a brand’s message in client-facing Sales/Marketing materials. They will be accountable for multiple quick-turnaround projects and for providing inspiration and support for various creative & content development initiatives.

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Implement consistent and uniformed brand messaging across a wide variety of collateral & media.
  • Contribute to a brand’s creative development, providing a clear rationale for its design and communications strategy.
  • Communicate complex information through creative design including charts, timelines, infographics, & other forms of data visualisation.
  • Create evergreen sales & marketing PPT presentations & one-sheets.
  • Create client specific pitches & proposal templates.
  • Create mock-ups for highly customised proposals.
  • Develop brand/design standard guidelines for Sales/Marketing materials.
  • Write compelling and persuasive brand sales copy.
  • Create and maintain a database of files, images, logos & other assets used in sales materials.


Should Have/Be

  • Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, and Keynote.
  • Ability to communicate the most convincing elements of a brand’s story and a creative idea.
  • Passion for gaming, TV, movies, and geek culture as well as the brands that Ziff Davis owns and operates. .
  • A strong ability to think strategically and provide creative rationale.
  • Must be highly collaborative with a positive attitude, able to incorporate suggestions, ideas, and creative direction in the production of collateral.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing projects & priorities.
  • Understanding of the media landscape, marketing communications, and visual storytelling.
  • Prior experience producing decks & brand collateral for an ad sales organisation, agency or brand environment is a plus.
