As part of the fast-growing Fax Marketing team at J2 Global, the ideal candidate will have the ability to work effectively cross functional teams while enthusiastically contributing to our fast-moving and evolving business. The SEM Specialist will help build and manage paid search campaigns, providing insights, optimization and reporting. This role is fast-paced, detail-oriented and requires impeccable organization and time management skills. Top skills in Excel and an analytical mindset are a must. The ideal candidate is driven to be successful and knows how to continuously optimize paid search campaigns based on results.


Job Duties:

  • Manage and maintain daily/monthly PPC spends for multiple brands to ensure each campaigns meet the desired performance metrics and budgets, delivering progress and insight reports on a regular basis to the greater marketing team.
  • Optimize campaigns based on real-time data to improve performance.
  • Develop and implement new strategies to improve search campaigns via testing with ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, negative keywords, and other appropriate methods.
  • Create daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports as needed.
  • Extract data from platforms and tools to provide analysis on various channels, measuring key metrics for trend analysis.
  • Stay informed and current on SEM trends, advances, changes to the competitive landscape, and keyword research.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure cohesiveness of online advertising with other marketing efforts.
  • Work independently and within a team to reach individual and department goals.



Job Requirements and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience managing successful paid search (PPC) campaigns in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads (Bing), and Yahoo Gemini, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Mathematics or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful SEM implementation and optimization.
  • Experience using tools and platforms such as: Kenshoo, Marin, SA360, GA, Domo, etc.
  • Superior skills with Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to build rapport with other team members and cross-functional departments.
  • Detail oriented and possess strong problem solving, multi-tasking, and organizational abilities.
  • Google Ads Certification is a plus.
