What to Expect, the world’s most recognized pregnancy and parenting brand, is looking for a talented and motivated Product Manager. As product manager, you’ll lead a cross-functional team to put products in the hands of millions of parents during the most important time in their lives. What to Expect already leads the pregnancy category in mobile apps, SEO, and personalization. We have ambitious goals to expand our audience and business models over the next 12 months – all to further our mission of supporting happy, healthy pregnancies and families.

  1. Develop and execute roadmap for products including websites, mobile apps, email, and lifecycle messaging platforms
  2. Lead product discovery, requirements, measurement, and optimization, while communicating and collaborating with cross-functional partners
  3. Lead ideation and execution of high-quality products, with deep knowledge of:
    • Users/customers: parents and parents-to-be, partners
    • Business context: monetization, business model, stakeholder needs
    • Data & performance: analytics, industry, and market data
    • Pregnancy and parenting market: competitors, trends, and opportunities
About You:
  • Passionate about building products that make a real-world impact
  • You inspire cross-functional teams, building consensus around shared vision
  • You approach product discovery with an empathetic mindset, applying a toolkit of data-driven and research methodologies
  • You have an unwavering commitment to product quality, sound judgement, and discerning taste
  • 5+ years in B2C digital product management. Specific experience with websites, mobile apps, ad/marketing tech, email, lifecycle messaging platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder collaboration skills, up/down/across mid-sized organizations
  • Ability to thrive in a landscape of rapid evolution; of business model, product needs, and internal processes
  • Deep experience with lean UX and product development methodologies:
    • Product discovery techniques: product discovery, research, validation
    • Product optimization techniques: exceptional analytics proficiency, A/B testing methodologies, strong grasp of business models and monetization
    • Product delivery techniques: prioritize, ship product, mitigate risks
