The Business

The Role:

We’re looking for a talented Designer to join our Creative Services Team. Focused primarily on designing and developing impactful emails for our customers. You’ll help design and build new email creative and templates, as well as maintaining existing assets.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and building emails with HTML, and be aware of the best practices used in email design. You’ll be able to create mock-ups of your designs and present them to customers confidently conveying your knowledge.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and building new email templates & modules
  • Maintaining & amending current email templates & modules
  • Log all tasks, comments, supplied document and associated effort in our workflow management system to enable effective reporting.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Proactively collaborate with colleagues to deliver specific, evidence based recommendations to optimise customer email designs.

Skills:

Essential:

  • Knowledge & experience of building emails with HTML and CSS
  • Understanding of email marketing principles and best practices and how to apply that knowledge to design optimized email layouts.
  • A solid understanding of visual design, layout, typography and other design principles as demonstrated in a design portfolio.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Strategic thinking, prioritization skills, creativity, troubleshooting, and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Desirable:

  • Graphic design skills (ability to create high-quality graphics and icons)
  • Knowledge of creating interactive emails
