To strengthen our growth and customer success in the UK market, we are now hiring an Account Manager with strong capabilities and a desire to win new business in a complex marketplace with a highly appealing offering. Together with the KeepItSafe® team, you will be committed by our mission to manage and develop a portfolio of direct customers and channels partners.

You will have some knowledge of cloud based back-up technology, IT solution sales or data center operations and have a passion for customer success management by understanding the customers’ needs. You will drive both new business and customer retention activities through direct approach towards end users, nurturing our network of channel partners, networking and seeking opportunities with small business owners, professional networks, franchises and corporate businesses. You are a confident sales person who has the competence and skills to influence at all levels of an organization.     

This position is based from our office in Paddington, London, while a significant amount of time is spent in the field throughout the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage current customer base, develop and maintain relationship with our key customers, partners and channel partners to ensure a high degree of recurring business.
  • Identify new opportunities for KeepItSafe® cloud back up business, scope potential opportunities and close new business deals.
  • You will invest time with resellers and MSPs to ensure they receive appropriate training and support to make them self-going and motivated.
  • Partner with customers and offer innovative and forward thinking solutions to business needs.
  • You are an expert in your field and enjoy keeping up to date with market trends and new technologies. You will also provide industry updates and market information to KeepItSafe and j2 Global management and leadership team.
  • Take initiative, plan and participate in industry and marketing events and other fora where key decision-makers meet
  • In cooperation with the Marketing team, drive UK marketing activities and make sure our voice is heard and seen in the market place
  • Ability to adapt our value proposition to the unique customer’s needs, in a simple and effective manner
  • Maintain your forecast pipeline of and CRM planning (Salesforce.com)
  • Provide accurate and frequent reporting to KeepItSafe management

Preferred Requirements and Experience:  

  • 3+ years’ sales and account management experience in an enterprise environment
  • Experience within the Cloud Back Up industry is preferred. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of the key Back Up technologies (VEEAM, VMWare, Ahsay, Asigra)
  • You will have strong communication skills – verbal, written and presentation
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding targets using a solution based selling approach
  • You have a genuine interest for technical sales  with a natural ability to master new concepts, processes, details, and skills, and be able to effectively communicate them to a wide variety of audience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to pursued senior level decision makers
  • Travelling for face to face meetings and events will be required
