Are you obsessed with shopping, hunting for good deals and giving readers top-notch product recommendations?  

Ziff Media Group is looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to help manage the Branded Content program for RetailMeNot, and The ideal candidate should have a strong background in editorial strategy and commerce content, in addition to sharp editing skills, data and analytics prowess, and social media chops. 

As the Content Marketing Specialist, you will report to the Content Marketing Manager of Ziff Media Group. You will help strategize, produce and promote Branded Content across the Ziff Media Shopping Brands, taking into account partner budgets, goals and KPIs, and will be tasked with reporting on performance to key stakeholders. 


  • Assist in the pre-sale phase, ideating on Branded Content themes and ideas to meet partner KPIs.
  • Partner with department stakeholders, including Sales, Editorial, Social and Marketing teams for Branded Content campaign planning, content ideation and execution.
  • Develop content for advertising partners, including sponsored articles, social ads, email inclusions and merchant-sponsored mentions in The Real Deal editorial content.
  • Input and produce content within our content management systems.
  • Assist in the launch of paid social campaigns, ensuring that client KPIs and performance benchmarks are met.
  • Track and analyze key health metrics (e.g. traffic, engagement, conversions) and report on Branded Content performance and insights to key stakeholders.
  • Monitor competitor sites and blogs and stay up to date on Branded Content trends to identify opportunities for revenue growth.


  • At least 3 years of experience in digital editorial or content marketing
  • Experience developing content strategy for commerce sites 
  • Proven track record of driving traffic
  • Strong working knowledge of content management systems, including Wordpress 
  • Working knowledge of HTML and SEO
  • Keen understanding of Google Analytics, social media platforms and commerce content
  • Process-driven and love finding new ways to innovate and streamline
  • A natural project manager and multitasker
  • Photoshop skills a plus!
  • A BA in journalism, English, communications or marketing
