We are in search of a Director of Product Management that has the ability to define and drive the direction of communications products (Line2, eVoice, eReceptionist) within the Moz Group. A big picture problem solver willing and able to build out a strategy and see it through. A passionate and creative product leader delivering an exceptional customer experience to serve the business. An individual that actively reaches across the business to gather actionable data, unites groups under company goals, refines product vision and fundamentally evolves the products to improve retention and growth. This role will be expected to also execute as a Product Manager on tactical requirements, shepherding of enhancements through to launch and ensuring customer usage. 

Responsibilities include

  • Assists with defining and supporting the product vision for the product portfolio
  • Responsible for communicating and reinforcing the larger product strategy across the organization
  • Oversee/accountable for the success and impact of a portfolio of product lines and their alignment with the longer term vision/strategic roadmap
  • Participate in the formation of product strategies and roadmaps
  • Oversee every step of the product life cycle
  • Analyze the market to uncover opportunities 
  • Define principles for product management workflows and process
  • Ability to build strong-cross team relationships and ensure that our processes are working and adapt
  • Develop and manage project roadmaps for product offering(s), integrating the product strategy, inclusive of timelines, risks, and dependencies
  • Gather and support prioritization of product requirements, providing recommendations, as appropriate
  • Creates and maintains strategic partnerships as it relates to j2, industry knowledge, product advancement and innovation
  • Cultivate a strong product culture across the organization and within the executive team - ensuring buy-in on the roles & responsibilities of product managers as well as cross-functional product processes
  • Ensure the product organization is aligned with the company’s organizational goals
  • Analyze consumer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build vs. buy perspective
  • Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation
  • Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, customer success and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization


  • 5+ years of program/product management experience with 2 years as a manager
  • Extensive product lifecycle knowledge acquired through hands-on experience shipping several, large-scale consumer internet products
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, scrum, usability testing
  • Experience/instincts for information architecture, UX and product design
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, proactive and clear communications to a variety of audiences
