Senior People/HR Business Partner - IGN
IGN is looking for an experienced People/HR Business Partner who will build strong relationships with our leaders and employees and will partner with teams on all activities from employee relations, performance management and compensation, organization support, talent acquisition, onboarding and learning and development. You’ll collaborate with our divisional HR team for benefits, payroll and HRIS.

This is a critical role which sits on the IGN leadership team. You will report to the VP of HR of Ziff Davis (IGN’s parent company) and will be a dedicated partner to IGN. The role is based in Los Angeles, CA and you will be expected to be onsite in the office several days a week when we are able to reopen the office.

What You’ll Do:
● Develop and execute talent programs and activities with IGN’s business objectives and culture in mind
● Partner with leadership team to continue to build, develop and sustain the organization’s DEI efforts
● Provide day-to-day performance management and employee relations guidance to managers (coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions), advising and assisting managers in identifying issues and determining appropriate course of action.
● Demonstrate a high level of competency and commitment to HR best practices and employment laws
● Work with managers and employees to identify training & career development opportunities
● Salary planning, market analysis and participation in headcount approval process for salary actions
● Work with the Talent Acquisition team on recruitment strategies, processes and employee retention
● Communicate and implement Company policies/processes and recommend department-wide improvements
What You’ll Bring
● 4+ years experience in a HR business partner, generalist and/or management role supporting a diverse client base in multiple locations, and time zones. Multi-country experience is helpful but not required.
● Experience implementing and managing diversity, equity and inclusion programs
● Experience working in a complex and rapidly changing work environment
● Impeccable attention to the details
● Analytical acumen including strong Excel skills and experience with HR systems and applications
● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to influence and negotiate at all levels
● Proven, comprehensive understanding of federal and California labor and employment laws
● Honesty and trustworthiness
