Senior Marketing Manager – Acquisition and Retention Campaign management


Job Summary:

The Senior Marketing Manager is an opportunity for an ambitious marketeer to join a dynamic business with high growth ambitions.

We are seeking a high-performing, innovative, results-oriented and customer-obsessed Senior Marketing Manager to own the strategy & implementation of acquisition and retention campaigns for our Voice portfolio across the global footprint. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Voice Marketing, this is an exciting role for the right candidate who enjoys pushing against the status quo. As a key member of the Global Voice Marketing team, this position will shape & drive our B2C and B2B Voice cloud services marketing initiatives across multiple channels and geographies.

This position is located in Dublin, Ireland.

 Role & Responsibilities:

Managing a team of two, you will lead the development, operations and execution of on-line and off-line campaigns across the global footprint to drive growth. Your key responsibilities include:   

 

  • Develop and manage acquisition strategy and marketing programs via on-line & off-line channels (owned, paid, earned and content marketing programs) and build a demand generation engine that generates, and nurtures leads – building a robust pipeline.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing Operations team & external agencies to create, run, and analyze demand generation campaigns through multi-channel approach to drive awareness, consideration and adoption
    • Work with the team Business Analysis to develop data and insight strategy to build and maintain comprehensive target customer profiles and target personas
    • Develop persona targeted messaging to ensure differentiation from the competition
    • Develop a pipeline model that ensures revenue goals are achieved in each segment by driving the conversion of prospective customers to active customers through funnel optimization
    • Collaborate with Marketing Operations team to define channel, media spend and resource allocation to support the implementation of all campaigns
  • Work with the CRM manager to develop and manage of CRM Marketing programs, built around clearly defined segment personas, triggers and journeys
    • Plan and collaborate with the CRM manager to implement multi-channel communication journeys to onboard, engage, and retain leads / existing customers. Oversee the overall content and touchpoint strategy
    • Collaborate with the CRM manager to configure, test and launch multi-touch campaigns, including emails, landing pages, reporting and list segmentation
    • Collaborate with the CRM marketing manager to define the direct to customer communications roadmap, including channel strategy, content scheduling, frequency rules and defining and development of marketing automation improvements
  • Use insights from continual testing, customer data, and industry best practices to optimise marketing communications to achieve business goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Set clear performance goals to achieve quarterly and annual goals through online and offline marketing initiatives.
  • Manage third party agencies to support overall marketing efforts, content and asset creation. Work with creative teams, internal and external, on asset development, deployment and testing.
  • Collaborate with a broad range of teams, including international marketing, product, Customer Care, Sales, operations, and creative teams.

  • The role requires the ability to analyze campaign effectiveness, deep dive on performance, modify campaigns based on conclusions, and clearly articulate results to stakeholders.
  • You have a proven track record of demand generation and lead management in a B2C/B2B/SaaS company
  • You successfully translate marketing plans into actionable projects and lead the creative development process.

  • expert at using data analytics to guide marketing decisions, and identify/document business cases for new opportunities;
  • comfortable working in an environment of experimentation, innovation, collaboration

Job Requirements and Experience:

Candidates must be experienced marketers with a proven track record of success. Interested candidates should possess:

  • 6+ years’ experience in marketing with a core focus on all aspect of the Digital marketing activity.
  • Minimum of 3+ years working on successful acquisition and retention campaigns for eCommerce/ SaaS business.
  • Expert numeracy skills. Comfortable with large volumes of data - able to spot insight and direct action quickly.
  • Demonstrated success in hiring, mentoring, coaching and retaining a high-performing results driven team
  • Experience managing agency relationships and performance.
  • Language skills (French, German and Spanish) and experience managing global or pan-European marketing initiatives is a plus.
