Interface with customers and with eFax Corporate® enterprise and inside sales reps, customer service, billing, legal, engineering, and other j2 departments to fulfill customer porting requests and assist with account maintenance.

Job Duties:

• Manage the porting of customer numbers.
• Work with multiple phone carriers and coordinate between the end user and
  the carrier on a consistent basis
• Submit and check statuses of submitted pending port requests
• Send, scan, collect, organize, and update customer data; save and update
  customer's files
• Contact customers by email and phone to communicate their porting
  statuses
• Follow up with all customers to communicate incomplete or missing
  paperwork
• Return any phone messages and reply to customers' emails.
• Submit trouble tickets to providers for any ported number issues
• Submit all change requests with needed rejection information received
• Take escalated customer calls


Job or Project Requirements and Experience:

• 3+ years of Customer Service Experience
• Strong MS Excel and familiarity with multiple browsers – Internet
  Explorer/Chrome/Firefox
• SalesForce experience a plus
• Ability to prioritize & schedule tasks.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Ability to multitask projects
• Ability to set customer expectations in accordance with j2 guidelines
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Strong familiarity with telecom porting procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
