Design at IGN encompasses many different mediums and use cases. Primarily the design team here focuses on our products, those being the web versions of as well as our many apps that we have created over the years across multiple platforms. Through the use of research, UX, and visual design our team works on a daily basis with engineering and product managers to develop these products across every step until their eventual release.

Besides these primary responsibilities our team also creates logos for new shows on IGN, branding for big events like E3 and Comic-Con as well as design for the sales creative (sponsored content, videos, ads, etc) that runs across all of our platforms.

Depending on your skill set you could be working on one or many of these types of design. You will be working with our team of three other product designers as well as product managers, engineering, editorial and many of the teams at IGN. You will be designing products and features that will go live on within the time you are here for this internship. Depending on the type of project you are assigned your responsibilities could range from user flows, wireframes and research to visual design, logo design and advertisement design.

The programs we primarily work in are Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Sketch and while you do not need to be an expert in all of them it would be good to know one of them to a certain degree of expertise.

We do not cover the cost of travel or lodging. Applications must be submitted by Sunday, March 29th, 2020 (11:59pm PST). You will be notified by email if you pass the first round of submissions. Apply at
