We are looking for a strong analytical thinker with an audience-first mindset for the role of Content Marketing Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall content strategy to meet our cloud products’ goals and objectives. Successful candidates will be experts on content writing, understand our various cloud solutions and their nuances, and how to utilize data in formulating a campaign strategy. You will help us increase web traffic and brand awareness though the execution of a successful content roadmap. You will be responsible for selecting topics and distribution mediums to help launch our marketing programs and target our readers at every phase of the buying lifecycle. You will be working with and managing a team of editors, creators, consultants, and internal writers to execute on your plans and tactics. You will measure content campaign results specified by our CMO. You will also be working with our corporate marketing group to identify content required for the execution of the various marketing programs, including blog topics, articles, eBooks, white papers, website content, and press releases. You will manage the distribution of this content on the appropriate platforms while measuring the results of this marketing activity. This position will report to the Corporate Marketing Director.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create, share, and measure content marketing activities. You will be accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention.
  • Work with a team of writers and editors to produce content required by active Marketing programs.
  • Effectively execute on the content strategy designed by you with the help from the Marketing team, to drive leads, subscribers, and increase awareness.
  • Manage and develop a blogging strategy, roadmap, and cadence.
  • Orchestrate digital content strategies across all online platforms.
  • Work with external influencers and other industry experts to create content. This includes interviewing customers for case studies development, meeting with subject matter experts on various topics related to our cloud services and products.
  • Meet regularly with cross-functional teams to understand our industry, what our customers say, what pain points they have, and define a roadmap for our own internal content needs.
  • Have a full understanding of which platform different kinds of content are best suited to.
  • Influence others that your creative ideas are worth investing time and effort in. This role is at the core of the marketing team, and others will rely on your work every single day.
  • Collaborate across functions and silos to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet our objectives at the best cost and within our timelines.
  • Manage a content marketing budget.

 

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience writing and managing content creation.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience creating content for cloud software, healthcare industry, cloud fax, and APIs.
  • Able to dig deep, research, and sometimes act autonomously to get the information required for certain topics. No topic is too big or too complex for you.
  • Experience in creating various types of content such as eBooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, blogs, etc.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in producing content for the web, as well as channel-specific knowledge and social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • Experience in producing smart CTAs according to the visitor lifecycle stage
  • Superior time-management skills and ability to handle various concurrent projects with competing priorities.
  • Collaborative interpersonal and communication skills, a must. Collaborative is the word.
  • Proven critical-thinker and problem-solver, we will ask you questions on this!
  • A dual-minded approach: You are highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign) not a must, but especially useful.
  • Cursory knowledge of HTML and web-related technologies preferred.
