Who we are: Spiceworks Ziff Davis (SWZD) stemmed from the acquisition of Spiceworks by Ziff Davis, LLC. We help marketers at software and technology companies generate demand, create sales leads and connect them with users in our online communities and global databases. We do this by leveraging our data to help those marketers craft more targeted performance marketing campaigns across out network of B2B properties.

Summary of the Job:

The Business Development Executive (BDE) is focused on understanding & articulating the company's offerings in order to assist them in the demand generation programs in defined geographies. BDE at Spiceworks Ziff Davis acts as an extension of the company's sales & marketing team. He/ She is responsible to generate sales qualified meetings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand the company's solutions & offerings
  • Map global markets, capture market intelligence & identify target markets through research
  • Effectively articulate value proposition to decision makers and assess buying interest
  • Prospect, Educate, Qualify and Develop accounts to create sales ready meetings
  • Effectively perform outbound calls to target prospects in defined geographies
  • Engage in meaningful conversation/s with key decision makers and business owners
  • Conduct targeted surveys to identify the right business opportunity from prospects
  • Consistently meet or exceed demand generation targets to create high quality sales pipeline for the company
  • Be Responsible for lead nurturing and follow up programs designed by the company

 Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence
  • Team Player who possesses a desire and ability to work in a fast paced, goal oriented high growth sales environment
  • Highly motivated self-starter with competitive personality and Strong attention to detail
  • Proven capabilities and skills in account development, opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call structure/control, and time & territory management desired
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated aptitude for technology and sales
  • 10 + 2 or a Graduate
  • Fixed Shift 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM or 07:00 PM - 04:00 AM (Based on US daylight saving)
  • Fixed Saturday and Sunday off
  • Transportation for Female employees as its a night shift job
  • Minimum of 2 years experience (Any Domain)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in B2B Domain - US region Only
  • Strong experience in Outbound sales, Appointment Generation is mandatory
