Everyday Health Group is currently seeking a Sales and Revenue Analyst. You will be responsible for partnering with multiple departments across Everyday Health’s three Business Units to Optimize Revenue Recognition, Assist in Revenue Forecasting, Calculate Revenue at Risk, and Manage Pipeline Best Practices and Reporting. This also includes involvement in growth strategies and recommending operational improvements.

  • Participate in various weekly revenue meetings to track delivery of advertising campaigns across all properties, working with Ad Operations and Client Success Teams to optimize delivery, while communicating revenue at risk to management
  • Track cost of revenue, such as royalty expenses, working with Ad Operations and Client Success Teams to optimize delivery to minimize costs while communicating margin impact to management
  • Perform sales pipeline analysis and communicate trends, risks and opportunities to sales leadership
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and reporting requests from senior management, providing a strategic, data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Continually assess day-to-day tasks, as well as sales operations processes, in order to optimize, streamline, and improve workflow to minimize process failures
  • Conduct and deliver weekly revenue reporting and analysis to Business Intelligence Team
  • Assist in the upgrade of reporting standards through the pursuit of continuous process improvement and liaise with various Business Units and departments
  • Prepare and deliver daily, weekly and monthly management reports to key constituents
  • Function effectively in an especially fast-paced environment, managing time effectively to address high priority items in a timely manner
  • Develop department-level and business-wide KPI’s to be used for performance monitoring and goal setting
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual close and audit process alongside the Finance Team. Including: 
    • Update financial models 
    • Review actuals
    • Investigate & reporting budget variances
    • Reconcile revenue to internal systems

You will partner with business leaders to identify and interpret issues/opportunities. You will act as the revenue and pipeline management expert on cross-functional teams to build and prepare models, review and challenge business assumptions and conduct revenue and pacing analyses.

This role will report to Everyday Health’s Manager, Sales Analytics and will have direct daily exposure to the Business Unit department heads and Sales VPs.  This role will also support FP&A, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams across all three Business Units with revenue analytics, forecasting, workflow management, optimizations and reconciliation.


  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Operations Research or related quantitative field preferred
  • 1-2 years of digital media operations, finance, strategic analysis or similar analytical role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial analysis and model building
  • Salesforce experience, preferred
  • Must be analytical, detail-oriented, and a self-starter
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent judgment and discretion in dealing with confidential and highly sensitive financial or other information
