This leader will be responsible for the consumer product line portfolio that includes Privacy, Security and Backup. The role will focus on product strategy, SaaS product lifecycle management and product marketing and GTM planning and execution. This will include analyzing cybersecurity market trends, buyer segmentation, and working with sales and marketing teams to launch products into new markets and new target segments successfully. 

This leader will synthesize a comprehensive product strategy into a clear product statement of direction and drive product roadmaps and direction, including defining and executing the consumer, prosumer, and SOHO product roadmap and ensure that our products are aligned with the company's overall strategy and goals. Special emphasis will be placed on the efficiency of global eCommerce storefronts and B2B2C  for our family of brands in VIPRE Security Group B2C product portfolio, VIPRE™, STRONGVPN™, IPVANISH™, Livedrive™, SugarSync™.  This leader should have hands on experience and understanding of eCommerce conversion, A/B testing, and analytics is a core requirement for this role.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute product strategy and to drive retention rates and growth in bookings 
  • Set targets for, track, and deliver sales KPI higher ARPA/ARPU/LTV improvement by product line 
  • Implement a disciplined process and approach for quarterly strategy & roadmap updates 
  • Deliver a strategy that includes product rationalization, product lifecycle and future investments 
  • Track ROI of features post release and launch, articulate competitive advantage, positioning and messaging of products capabilities
  • Review market growth rand trends and competitive landscape
  • Articulate Problem/Solution/Value statements for consumer security market segments
  • Drive comprehensive product launch commitments in partnership with the go-to-market teams 
  • Enable teams across the organization to articulate the strategy and value to the customer 
  • Synthesize a comprehensive product strategy into a clear product statement of direction to be used with key market stakeholders
  • Support eCommerce team to enhance customer acquisition strategies o reduce non-paying customers, eliminate fraudulent signups, foster customer retention, and otherwise drive customer lifetime value.
  • Participate in evolving the strategy for enhancing and expanding our product offerings in response to marketplace conditions, internal stakeholder needs, and existing and prospective customer requests.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required

  • 15+ years of experience with a track record of delivering large-scale consumer SaaS software 
  • 6+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Marketing roles for Cloud/SaaS eCommerce websites
  • 3+ years of consumer cyber security and data privacy industry experience
  • Prefer background or deep knowledge of consumer product marketing and eCommerce.
  • Track record of success in consumer SaaS companies with $75M+ in revenue
  • History of designing and executing consumer software product strategies and roadmaps that deliver consistent retention, bookings growth, and competitive win rates 
  • Cross-functional leader skilled in collaborating with Marketing, Sales, and Services teams to ensure competitiveness and accelerate sales cycles 
  • Track record of enabling increased rates in bookings and cross-sell / Bundles / Solutions
  • Able to quickly grasp the nuances of a given market ecosystem, understand competitive value propositions, and drive rapid iterations with messaging and programs 
  • Track record of beating competition as evidenced by retention, win rates, market share, and analyst rankings 
  • Formal product management and product marketing training
  • Detail-oriented leader who works backward from an objective to set and accomplish appropriate milestones 
  • History of tracking, analyzing, and interpreting relevant market and customer data including usage metrics to drive prioritization 
  • History of executing a systematic approach to capture win/loss data and incorporating into roadmap prioritization analyses 
  • Experience managing a broad and diverse product portfolio with multiple use cases, buyer personas, and ecosystem dynamics 
  • Experience leading and developing product management teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA degree is a plus.

Desirable

  • M&A experience is a plus - building and executing on an integrated product roadmap 
  • Experience leading product portfolio rationalization post-acquisition
  • Customer-driven investment prioritization approach with experience conducting deep and continuous market research
  • Experience implementing a detailed product strategy and roadmaps 
  • Experience developing impactful and relevant presentations for multiple audiences – market, customers, teams 
  • Experience managing mobile applications as part of a product portfolio, including mobile signup workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and influencing skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications with professional and technical audiences
  • Understanding of Agile and work experience in a fast paced, Agile based development environment.
  • Professional experience creating and delivering technical and business decision maker presentations for internal and external customers.
  • Solid understanding of how service-oriented architectures are built and structured.
  • Highly committed, thought leader, innovative and a team player.
  • Knowledge of tracking and reporting tools, JIRA preferred. Affinity with Confluence.
