Castle Connolly, a leading doctor ratings and research company, and a subsidiary of Everyday Health Group, is looking for a high-performing and driven individual to join our Sales & Marketing Department. Reporting directly into the Head of Sales & Marketing, the Associate Manager of Physician Partnerships will be responsible for selling integrated packages to doctors, marketing professionals and practice managers who are part of the Castle Connolly Top Doctor database.

This role will be responsible for working within the Sales organization to maximize revenue and exceed individual and team targets, leveraging sales products such as print/digital media, content marketing platforms, lead generation and custom products. Responsibilities include but are not limited to identifying and closing new business, securing renewals for existing business, developing strategic integrated proposals, managing accounts day-to-day, and monitoring of campaign performance.

The Associate Manager of Physician Partnerships will be a key member of a small but growing team. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, agile and willing to pick up the phone and connect with physician and practices around the country.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve/exceed established sales targets
  • Identify and secure opportunities for new business
  • Secure account renewals
  • Work across the organization to develop strategic, integrated proposals
  • Generate new products to further grow revenue and better serve our customers and users
  • Optimize existing inventory usage to maximize revenue
  • Manage active accounts on a day-to-day basis
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, both internally and to clients
  • Perform ongoing competitive analysis and benchmarking
  • Collaborate with other departments including research, marketing, editorial, social and ad operations
  • Utilize CRM tool for record keeping and account information sharing

Required Qualifications/Skills

  • 1-3 years of proven integrated digital sales experience, ideally with previous exposure to the healthcare industry and/or healthcare providers.
  • Comfort level to make high volume of phone calls to secure new business
  • Poise, maturity and enthusiasm needed to effectively represent our Company
  • Consultative selling experience
  • Ability to organize and maintain many accounts, and provide outstanding customer service
  • Self-starter who can develop and execute integrated sales plans
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and effectively
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel and email marketing platforms are a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree
