Research analysts with deep industry knowledge are a vital part of our team, directly influencing the quality of our market-facing reports and client partnerships. Analysts strive for the best by continuously monitoring evolving market trends and best practices. They go the extra mile to blend data with their own expertise and insights to develop industry-leading trusted research content and advisory.  The end goal is to produce highly relevant insights that technology buyers can rely on to make educated purchase and renewal decisions.

Your day-to-day

Human capital management (HCM) analyst is a highly-visible role interacting with leading HCM technology users and vendors. Among the responsibilities for the role are:

  • Track and monitor emerging trends and technologies within the HCM space. Key topics include:
    • Talent acquisition
    • Talent management
    • Employee engagement
    • Recruitment process management
  • Conduct market research on technology trends and business processes (surveys, qualitative in-depth interviews)
  • Analyze research findings and draw inferences and conclusions in response to the research query
  • Write cohesive reports that illustrate the learnings, and build content that educates the community
  • Present your findings (by phone, in-person and in industry conferences) to technology end-users, software vendors and the marketplace
  • Build and manage a technology vendor landscape to track market trends and maintain a research editorial calendar
  • Conduct statistical analysis from data collected
  • Actively contribute to relevant client engagements related to sales discovery and/or strategic relationship building

Must have qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in human capital management as a technology solution provider, industry analyst or HR practitioner
  • Experience in producing written industry analysis
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills (presenting to and interfacing with clients)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (kind of goes without saying, but we’re saying it anyway)
  • BS or higher with a strong record of academic achievement
  • Highly proficient in using workplace productivity software such as Microsoft Office products

Some great to haves:

  • Experience in managing and delivering customer projects
  • Marketing experience with a human capital management software/technology company
  • Desire to learn and stay up-to-date with top B2B marketing best practices to help our clients succeed
