iContact is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to be an owner of the iContact product as we add dramatic new functionality, organically and through integration with other products. This position will join a team of existing QA Analysts along with Development, UX, and operations engineers who value working together to solve big problems. The Job: 

  • As an integral member of an agile development team, your core mission is ensuring that quality is "built in" from the ground up in our application.
  • QA our email marketing platform.
  • Be a customer advocate that ensures customers can take full advantage of all the benefits of our application.
  • Deliver and execute effective and efficient test methods and scenarios.
  • Collaborate with the product team to design and validate product features in a fast-paced environment following agile development methodologies.
  • Proactively communicate with peers, management, and cross-functional teams to address and resolve issues.
  • Identify and communicate quality process improvements focused on all test requirements.

You have: 

  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience testing web-based software, preferable in a SaaS environment.
  • Experience with testing strategy, planning, creation, and execution in an agile environment along with continuous integration practices.
  • Passion for Quality Assurance balanced with the business need to release software sooner than later.
  • Ability to think analytically and an understanding of risk-based testing and root cause analysis.
  • Working knowledge of different operating systems and browsers, including experience using browser development tools.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills along with clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a team-oriented, collaborative workplace.
  • Solid knowledge of current Quality Assurance methodologies, best practices, and tool sets. Experience with JIRA, TestRail, and Confluence is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technical, or related discipline.
  • Familiarity with automated testing using Selenium and Cucumber is a plus.
