Position Overview

Intermediate level inside sales position targeting the Australian small and medium business market in the Telco/IT industry. Phone and online based sales role, taking leads from an expression of interest to close and provide support to customers who are seeking new opportunities to up-sell. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Secure new business opportunities arising from incoming leads, utilizing the below communications channels
    • Phone
    • Live Chat
    • Email
  • Participate in outbound calling campaigns to warm leads, with campaign support provided by the marketing departments.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives and sales quotas, while ensuring the optimum customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Move prospects through sales cycle from lead to close. Many opportunities will close in a single call and others will require multi-day follow up
  • Ensure prospect and customer data is maintained in company systems (CRM)
  • Work within set key performance measurements defined by the call center and management team and process sales transactions using internal provisioning systems and follow set processes and procedures
  • Work with the Customer Service team to manage customer expectations, on time service delivery and consistent achievement of service level targets
  • Provide exemplary service levels to customers by being responsive and proactive


  • Previous inbound & outbound calling experience to both cold and warm clients
  • Sales, Account Management or Customer Service experience in the Telco or IT industry
  • Results orientated
  • Strong computer skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills suitable for the Australian business environment
