We are a group of cloud storage companies including Livedrive, SugarSync and KeepItSafe under the J2 Global Cloud Storage banner. Our platforms already protect millions of customers and we're growing rapidly through organic growth and partnership with big household names.

We are looking for an amazing UI/UX Designer to join our cross-functional team based in Paddington. You will look after products for Livedrive, but you’ll also get the chance to work with our other sister companies in the Cloud Backup group.

You will be surrounded by people with knowledge in many areas and get the chance to closely collaborate with them, creating together the best product experience for our users.

We work in an Agile environment and rely on every member of the team to help direct the company with planning sessions, standups, and retros. We strive to keep users at the centre of our process.

Plus our friendly colleagues are always up to something, from pool tournaments and ping pong games to board game lunches and special days out.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design great user experience across multiple platforms, from native mobile and desktop apps to web applications
  • Own user stories and guide the UX process, from concept to release
  • Work on a long-term design vision for our products and deal with other teams to get it delivered
  • Perform UX research and prototype testings’ to enhance products
  • Guide the development effort with wireframes, user journey diagrams, style guides and high fidelity mockups
  • Ensure brand guidelines are followed across multiple brands, projects and platforms
  • Work closely with other designers, developers and product teams
  • Provide assets for multiple projects and ensure final products are always polished to the highest standards
  • Be the strongest user advocate around

Requirements and experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a design role
  • Design background (degree in design, web design or similar)
  • Proficient with Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Proficientwith wire framing and prototyping tools (e.g. Balsamiq, InVision)
  • Experience with UX methodologies such as user testing, comparative research, heuristic evaluations, etc.
  • Experience with Design Systems, frameworks and style guides
  • Strong experience with responsive design
  • Good knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Good knowledge of web accessibility guidelines
  • Confident in challenging the status quo and pushing for better design solutions
  • Always up-to-date with the latest from the design world
  • You must have a portfolio to showcase examples of your best work

 Bonus points:

  • Experience guiding design workshops with development and/or product teams
  • Experience working with Agile teams and methodologies
  • Experience with SASS
