Since its “humble” beginnings in 2017, Humble Bundle's published games have consistently been positively received by players and critics alike.

Humble Publishing is hiring a Director, Publishing Marketing! We're looking for someone who has the experience and passion to design, manage, and execute unique, creative and effective marketing and launch plans for our growing and diverse catalog of Publishing titles.

You will set the overall strategy for the marketing of Humble-published games, as well as give shape to our publishing brand as a whole. Our ideal candidate should love to play games and have a passion for the latest and most exciting marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the leader and steward of the Humble Publishing brand - shaping its voice, vision, tone, and use
  • Lead a small team of brand managers, guiding individual members to reach their full potential
  • Develop a standard marketing playbook and execution plan to be used for all game releases, along with additional beats and plans tailored to each individual title
  • Develop best practices across the entire portfolio, including training for developers to effectively market via their channels and support their online communities (Discord, Twitter, Reddit, etc.)
  • Organize workload amongst brand management team so each team member is wholly responsible for a subset of games
  • Empower brand managers to own marketing planning for their games, providing their own flavor to each campaign
  • Work with Business team to create compelling cases for digital and physical distributors, including deliverables such as decks, videos, sell sheets, etc.
  • Set, and continually monitor, marketing metrics that define goals and measure success
  • Provide reports and analysis on targets to senior management, as well as plans to improve performance on each goal

Experience / Requirements

  • 5+ years working in brand management and marketing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to craft exceptional marketing strategies backed by insightful market and player analysis
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate reports
  • Team player with a positive attitude
