Ziff Davis Australia is looking for a passionate and driven Sales Executive to join our sales team of dead-set legends. The role of Sales/Account Executive is responsible for managing their own patch of agency and direct clients to meet their individual and team revenue goals while also supporting the function of the wider sales team. The Account Executive can look forward to selling across the world’s largest gaming and entertainment site in IGN and Australia’s largest technology portfolio with PCMag, Mashable, ZMG, and Speedtest. Some key responsibilities include:

  • Foster valuable relationships with media agencies & direct clients within your patch, keeping them up to date on everything involving our brands.
  • Uncover briefs and respond to them with the assistance of the Sales Coordinator and internal departments.
  • Develop new non-traditional products & relationship based initiatives that generate revenue outside of standard media executions (e.g. on-ground events, media stunts, branded content, syndication, joint ventures).
  • Maintain a functional level of programmatic knowledge and help facilitate programmatic revenue through uncovering programmatic opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell agencies & clients.
  • Review monthly site analytics across all platforms in order to leverage this information for client benefit.
  • Prepare, implement and review Ziff Davis quarterly and annual sales strategies in conjunction with Group Sales Manager, Editorial & wider sales team.
  • Survey your clients for feedback on our products and services to ensure we’re exceeding expectations.

Experience we are looking for:

  • Established history working in digital media at either a publisher or media agency
  • Proven Sales and Account management performance – minimum 1 year
  • Experience in research, analytics & ad serving systems such as:
  • Google Analytics
  • Nielsen
  • GAM
  • Salesforce

Skills and Knowledge you may have:

  • Understanding of the digital, media, advertising and marketing industry
  • Preferable passion for Games & Entertainment media
  • Well developed communications skills (written & verbal)
  • Intermediate skills in:
  • PowerPoint
  • Excel
  • Photoshop
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strategic & quantitative skills
  • Team player with the ability to work with a number of stakeholders
