Join a growing Analytics and Insights team supporting the end-to-end planning and execution of primary research, ad effectiveness studies, and digital media research projects. Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organization including Sales/Branded Content/Marketing, Merchandising, Editorial, Commerce and Product/Engineering teams to advance the audience insights and primary research disciplines.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead data analysis across projects (surveys, deep dives with syndicated/secondary data etc.) for the audience insights team.
  • Extract actionable insights and recommendations from large quantitative and qualitative datasets
  • Work closely with the analytics leads to integrate primary research findings with usage and behavioral data
  • Package and distill audience insights in an engaging and thoughtful way that tells a story with the data coupled with strong data visualizations
  • Support overarching sales and marketing research strategy with custom research ideas and case studies across brands and platforms
  • Monitor, interpret and distribute findings form various sources (syndicated, social listening platforms, first party research, etc.) to provide context on industry and consumer trends
  • Manage ad hoc research projects from start to finish with minimal oversight


  • 5+ years’ experience in primary, digital ad sales, and/or media research
  •  Versed in quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Proficiency in statistical methods and testing principles (e.g. test/control setup, statistical significance, sampling methods, data weighting)
  • Familiarity with G-Suite products (Google Docs, Sheets and Slides), and advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, filters, vlookups, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Python, SQL, HTML, CSS a plus.
  • Ability to extract insights from complex datasets and package into actionable and relevant insights
  • Experienced presenter with exceptional written communication skills, especially in story-telling
  • Excellent time-management, organizational and project management skills
  • Experience with survey programming software (e.g., Alchemer fka SurveyGizmo, Qualtrics) a plus
  • Familiarity with standard syndicated/media measurement sources (e.g., comScore, ListenFirst, Google Analytics, Quantcast) a plus
  • Experience building or working with online communities/panels a plus
