Web Designer

IContact is searching for an individual with a passion for design and ability to focus on revenue impact. The ideal candidate understands layouts, responsive capabilities, and technologies that support successful email marketing campaigns. The Web Designer must be a natural communicator with a knack for helping internal and external clients visualize their design project while providing their creative expertise to help ensure all parties agree on the details. Their instinct should be to reach out and communicate with clients, coworkers and team members.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, and provisioning the iContact Design Services’ offerings (including, but not limited to: Custom Templates, PDF Document Conversions, repairing HTML, custom sign up forms).
  • Interact with external customers, Sales, Support, and Client Services on gathering specific information for the design request. 
  • Coordinate with clients to ensure expectations are set.   
  • Follow-up and testing with client to support an exceptional end user experience.
  • Documentation of all completed work through CRM and consistent and clear communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with other departments on internal projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Strong HTML knowledge and aptitude, particularly in the difference between email HTML versus web HTML
  • Graphic Design experience
  • Minimum 3 years of college, training, or equivalent experience (bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Excellent knowledge and aptitude of CSS (Inline, Embedded and External styles)
  • Some knowledge of JavaScript
  • Operational knowledge of Dreamweaver and Photoshop
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • High customer service and technical support skills
  • Very good interpersonal communication skills on customer interaction
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a team-oriented, collaborative work place
  • Self-reliant, articulate, approachable and comfortable with a rapidly changing environment
