Everyday Health Consumer is seeking a Manager of Strategic Partnerships, Hospitals to join our dynamic sales organization.  Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Manager will have quarterly and annual revenue responsibility and will be an integral part driving sales revenue and future growth.   It is essential that the candidate have a proven track record in pharmaceutical digital advertising sales (hospitals), lead generation and selling across digital platforms and products. The successful candidate will be based in our Hudson Street (NYC) office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own a revenue goal. Achieve, and over-achieve, monthly, quarterly and annual budgets
  • Make presentations to clients face-to-face
  • Heavy emailing and phone calling to set both conference calls and face-to-face calls with hospital marketing directors
  • Territory determined by an assigned list of hospitals
  • Open and maintain relationships with agencies that have hospital clients
  • Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with advertising partners in order to grow revenue across multiple hospital advertising products
  • Feedback on market demands and trends that effect revenue planning.
  • Manage upfront advertising commitments and plan for success at the account and agency level
  • Collaborate with marketing and client success management to ensure campaign and partner success
  • Strong negotiating talents required to maintain and grow industry-leading rates.
  • Present results to internal account teams and clients, and suggest and implement ongoing ideas for improvement
  • Optimize and continue to develop Everyday Health’s hospital account strategy

Experience/Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5 years minimum, digital lead generation experience
  • Superior negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be organized, energetic, detail-oriented and have excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding aggressive revenue targets
  • Results-driven orientation, superior client management skills, excellent follow-up and follow-through
  • Ability to structure and close a sale
  • Independent self-starter who can both grow existing business and build new business
  • High degree of integrity and business ethics
  • Willing to travel as needed
