The Business Development Executive will help lead the sales effort in UK & Europe for j2 Global® with a primary focus on the Communicator offering. We are searching for candidates who crave a challenge and are not afraid to work outside their comfort zone. The role of the Business Development Executive includes strategically targeting and converting prospects into qualified opportunities that can then become recurring revenue. Ideal candidates must be self-motivated and driven to succeed while using creativity and persistence to find ways to generate leads and increase overall sales.

 

Job Duties:

 

  • Sell and market j2 Cloud Services® line of products and services to new clients within the UK & Europe as well as other incoming international leads.
  • Reaching and exceeding monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets
  • Establishing key account relationships
  • Identifying & qualifying sales opportunities
  • Thoroughly analyze and understand current and potential customers’ needs and objectives in order to successfully determine the appropriate solution
  • Continuously updating and maintaining prospects for pipeline management, daily activity and forecast data in CRM
  • Managing the initial sales process from lead to close for entry-level clients
  • Identifying enterprise level opportunities and efficiently executing hand-off to Sales Manager
  • Maximize sales in a defined territory
  • Provide return on investment (ROI) solutions in the form of product and service proposals
  • Utilize and ensure accuracy of information in CRM
  • Employ the use of j2 sales methodology to investigate and identify customers’ needs and determine solutions
  • Lead proposal development for accounts to ensure the best overall presentation of the company to the customer

 

Job Requirements and Experience:

 

  • 1+ years experience in a web-based sales environment is beneficial
  • Good working understanding of a common sales cycles, with experience in discovery, prospect education and closing tactics
  • Confidence and ability to interface professionally with a wide spectrum of customers including C level executives 
  • Self-motivated with a constant sense of urgency
  • Willingness to learn
  • Degree from accredited University or equivalent work experience
