Reporting to the Director, Major Accounts the Sr. Manager Major Accounts is responsible for managing a select group of large/strategic accounts within the North America region or potentially globally. These accounts are typically the larger organizations where we are looking to increase our footprint and grow revenues through expansion into new business units or via sales of additional Ekahau products and services. Tasked with creating, developing and executing sales strategies for assigned account(s) as well as delivering accurate and realistic sales forecasts. The Sr. Manager, Major Accounts is expected to deliver consistent revenue performance and growth or existing accounts and development of new accounts.

  • You will manage, develop and grow strategic prospects and existing customer relationships.
  • You will identify, qualify and quantify all opportunities within an assigned account(s).
  • You will develop and deliver accurate and technically correct sales presentations to potential customers.
  • You will manage all aspects of the sales cycle including prospecting, development of the customer relationship at all levels and the implementation of the account plans.
  • You will deliver on set objectives to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • You will work with sales support staff, pre and post sales staff to further customer relationships forecast, track account opportunities, and close the deal.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • To succeed at this job, you must have: capability to close complicated deals and multi-year deals from discovering sales opportunities to contract completion. You should be able to up-sell to a strategic account as well as penetrating and closing strategic targets.
  • We would like someone to join our team whohas a business and results-oriented mindset, excellent inter-personal skills. You must be customer-oriented and a natural leader.
  • You must havea Bachelor degree in related field.
  • We are looking for someone with7+ years of sales experience in IT industries and at least 3 years of experience at major account sales.
Required Skills: 
  • Proven ability to sell software to Fortune 1000 Major Accounts.
  • A proven track record of quota achievement and demonstrated career stability.
  • Experience in closing large deals.
  • Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-motivated, independent thinker that can move deals through the selling cycle.
  • Minimum 7 plus years’ sales experience selling to Fortune 1000 Major Accounts.
  • Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Competitive, Self-starter, Hunter-type mentality.
