Position at Everyday Health

The Sales Planner is a key member of the Strategy team, supporting our Sales organization by closely partnering to develop detailed digital campaign documentation.  In this position, you are responsible for understanding our pharmaceutical clients’ marketing goals and creating plans to accomplish these objectives.  Sales Planners are measured on their ability to manage the planning process for multiple pieces of business simultaneously and generate strategic ideas to help shape future digital strategies for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with members of the Professional sales team and VPs to understand client goals and objectives and brainstorm solutions
  • Develop media plans that exceed client expectations and maximize revenue
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of advertising inventory, pricing and products
  • Develop relationships and collaborate closely with key internal departments
  • Handle all ad hoc requests in a timely, efficient manner
  • Manage the Insertion Order (IO) / contracting process

Qualifications

  • Experience with digital media and advertising planning: 1-3 years minimum
  • Intermediate Excel skills a must. Salesforce and DSM experience a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast paced and evolving environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with and manage cross-functional teams
  • Positive, up-beat, can-do attitude
