Description

We are in search of a Director of Product Management that has the ability to define and drive the direction of distinct products within the Moz SEO portfolio. A strong people manager capable of supporting, coaching, growing, and inspiring various product focused roles to ensure we see ownership and execution. A passionate and creative product leader delivering an exceptional customer experience to serve the business. An individual that actively reaches across the business to gather actionable data, unites groups under company goals, refines product vision and fundamentally evolves the products to improve retention and growth. 


Responsibilities


  • Define and drive the product vision and strategy for the Moz SEO product portfolio and products within it
  • Oversee/accountable for the success and impact of a portfolio of product lines and their alignment with the longer term vision/strategic roadmap
  • Participate in the formation of product strategies and roadmaps
  • Recruit, grow and maintain a strong and effective team of product leaders, UX/UI, research, and product managers who are responsible for the product roadmap and execution against the roadmap
  • Define principles and best practices for product management workflows and processes
  • Ability to build strong cross-team relationships and ensure that our processes are working and adapting to the business needs
  • Develop and manage project roadmaps for product offering(s), integrating the product strategy, inclusive of timelines, risks, and dependencies
  • Gather and support prioritization of product requirements, providing recommendations, as appropriate
  • Create and maintain strategic partnerships as it relates to j2, industry knowledge, product advancement and innovation
  • Responsible for communicating and reinforcing the larger product strategy across the organization
  • Cultivate a strong product culture across the organization and within the executive team - ensuring buy-in on the roles & responsibilities of product managers as well as cross-functional product processes
  • Ensure the product organization is aligned with the company’s organizational goals


Qualifications


  • 7+ years of program/product management experience with 3 years as a manager
  • Extensive product lifecycle knowledge acquired through hands-on experience shipping several, large-scale consumer internet products
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, scrum, usability testing
  • Experience/instincts for information architecture, UX and product design
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, proactive and clear communications to a variety of audiences
