The Financial Analyst will need to be proactive and passionate about utilizing data and assessing key business indicators to identify and produce a consistent schedule of analyses and analytical insights that will help continuously inform and improve the business.

The Financial Analyst will need to be proactive and passionate about utilizing data and assessing key business indicators to identify and produce a consistent schedule of analyses and analytical insights that will help continuously inform and improve the business. In addition, the right candidate will possess strong business acumen and a thorough knowledge of business concepts and financial and business metrics. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and a dynamic personality strong enough to present detailed analytical findings and recommendations to all levels of the business, product and management teams.

Job Duties:

• Identify and produce data-driven, analytical insights with actionable recommendations to continuously improve our business units performance
• Establish a consistent schedule of analytically-driven deliverables and proactively present findings and actionable plans on a consistent to all levels of the business, marketing and management teams
• Partner with internal and external FP&A teams in evaluating key customer and business metrics and recommending ways to improve key drivers such as conversion, retention, lifetime value ongoing customer satisfaction
• Work with business unit management and internal FP&A teams to assist in the preparation of budgets and monthly rolling forecasts including the review of historical trends, expense assumptions and performance of ongoing marketing and sales programs
• Manage, automate and continuously improve dashboards and ongoing reporting of key performance indicators across multiple product lines and geographies.
• Passionately and enthusiastically pursue ways to improve overall business performance by analyzing and listening to the data as the foundation for decision-making and priority of action

Job Requirements and Experience:

• 3-4 years’ experience in reporting and data analytics, including experience in budgeting and forecasting, preferably in a fast-paced, high volume subscription based environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
• Must have experience analyzing large sets of data and the ability to proactively identify issues, generate analytical insights and present action-oriented recommendations
• Must have superior Excel skills and have fluency in spreadsheet creation and manipulation

• Must have knowledge of various financial systems and ability to extract and interpret large data sets.
• Must be a highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to build rapport with other team members and cross-functional departments

• Must be intellectually curious and passionate about utilizing data to illuminate opportunities and identify issues
