The Associate Director of Product Marketing, eFax Corporate will lead product marketing programs to drive marketing launch programs in the mid-market and enterprise segment for J2’s largest Cloud Services business unit, including eFax Corporate and Consensus. This individual will work closely with Product Development, Mid-Market and Enterprise sales teams, and other key stakeholder groups to help launch and grow penetration and adoption for our Fax and Consensus for Healthcare solutions across North America and EMEA. This individual will collaborate with the marketing team and sales across two global offices (Los Angeles and Dublin). The successful candidate will be an accomplished, data-driven and project management manager with a proactive approach to management of product launch programs, is team oriented, and has a direct, down-to-earth communication style.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute well defined product launch marketing strategies in concert with our product development, marketing and sales teams in B2B user acquisition through various channels inbound/outbound, website, campaigns, events, to build a continuous pipeline of qualified leads - driven by a keen eye on metrics and ROI.
  • Plan and execute a project plan for product launches including dependencies with other departments. Use project management tools that can manage timelines and completion of activities along with interdependencies and red flags on date slippage and budget management, Tools may include excel, Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana or other project management software.
  • In collaboration with marketing, support development and execution of multi-channel campaigns to drive new product MQLs and sales pipeline for the mid-market and enterprise segment.
  • Represent marketing on NPI and NPF processes including planning documents, meetings and any key issues regarding product launches. Escalate any issues to CMO for reconciliation.
  • Work with sales to garner testimonials for product launch, using beta testers or first customers to market.
  • Work with CMO to research new product markets and identify the TAM, SAM and SOM for validation on product applicability and revenue goals.
  • Work with CMO to slot new products into categories to be able to research competition for new products so that we can identify value above other products in the market.
  • Research trends and latest data supporting pain points and latest news for new product categories.
  • Work with CMO on understanding regulatory opportunities and challenges associated with product launches in healthcare space.
  • Exercise a data-centric approach to gather customer/user insights and use data to improve future product needs.

Requirements and Experience:

  • 7+ years’ experience in product marketing, particularly with focus in the SaaS segment, healthcare and global footprint. 
  • Strong understanding on the use of project management tools and reporting.
  • Deep understanding of demand generation marketing, balanced with appropriate technical know-how. 
  • Strong aptitude for data and analytics with operational and reporting management expertise.
  • Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers. 
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to operate as an effective tactician as well as a strategic thinker.
  • BS. or B.A. from accredited 4-year college/university; MBA or Master’s Degree desired.
