Marketing Automation Manager


SWZD is looking for a strategic, data-driven, and process-oriented Marketing Automation Manager. The ideal candidate will be well versed in marketing automation and understand how systems should connect to integrate data between platforms. The Marketing Automation Manager will administer our marketing automation platform, manage integrations and work to optimize campaign performance.


A successful candidate must be extremely detail oriented, proactive and confident working within the nuances of marketing automation platforms across multiple initiatives. They must help manage and oversee the entire marketing automation infrastructure and integrations to support lead routing and scoring, subscription systems, email deliverability and performance, and reporting, as well as oversee the holistic strategy to support global programs across core pillars – marketing ops, content and campaigns, product marketing, and events.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with an array of cross-functional team members: Marketing, Sales and IT to connect the dots between our marketing automation platform and application support.
  • In conjunction with email marketing function, oversee associated integrations, manage the marketing database, acquire contacts, maintain contact data health and integrity, nurture and deliver quality leads through best practice scoring and automation.
  • Serve as a super user for our marketing automation platform and educate and coach sales reps and marketing team on marketing ops and Marketo best practices.
  • Navigate and work in Salesforce from a marketing perspective. Troubleshoot and act as first line of support for marketing end users.
  • Create and maintain dynamic lists, automated lead scoring and routing rules and filed mapping.
  • Oversee data health and compliance with regional data privacy laws as well as manage data and automation practices to adhere to GDPR.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, responsive design, email testing, A/B testing, list segmentation and other aspects of email campaign execution.
  • Stay current with emerging best practices and understand basic metrics, including website performance, CPC, conversion rates and UTM parameters.
  • Facilitate execution of trigger-based nurturing programs through Marketo for all stages of the lead life cycle from inquiries and cold prospects, to engagement, to closed opportunities and retention.
  • Collaboration with content and demand gen teams to deploy best practices and optimize programs including lead management, infrastructure and advanced functions.

Requirements

  • Degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
  • 5 + years of marketing tech experience.
  • 3+ years in B2B marketing, experience in the enterprise software market is ideal.
  • Project management skills with the ability to multi-task and complete projects flawlessly under tight project deadlines without much supervision.
  • Desire for working in a fast-paced environment, comfort with change, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done, whatever it takes
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, Pardot and Marketo preferred, certification a plus.
  • Experience with customer relationship management platforms, Salesforce.com preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
