PRIME is looking for someone to join our team who will understand our business, our users, and technology, as well as how it all comes together to drive our growth. We need a Product Manager who builds awesome web and mobile products that resonate with users.

You have experience at a media company or online content publisher, or even better – you understand the Continuing Medical Education (CME) landscape. You are highly motivated to explore, develop and launch products that will help drive our business while broadening and engaging our audience. You love partnering and working with others, and you figure out ways to collaborate with cross-functional teams because you understand the importance of having a team behind you. You are thoughtful and well-spoken. When you need to convince stakeholders that your idea will move the needle, you understand the importance of creating a compelling story and backing it with data.

You love to solve problems, and are analytical and strategic in the way you do so. You can easily jump between day-to-day tactics and long-term vision building. You are passionate about creating the best possible user experience for our users and are able to balance the needs of those users with the organization’s goals.

Essential Functions:

  • Understand and analyze internal and external user needs through data analysis, user studies and market research
  • Help define internal and user facing product vision and strategy, and build consensus among multiple teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and business development
  • Own and drive individual products, features and initiatives (small and large) through the full lifecycle -- from ideation to launch, then nurturing through continued iteration and growth
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (clinical, technology, design, sales, marketing and project management) to help create the product roadmap, business and functional requirements, high level wireframes and prototypes
  • Lead day-to-day product development efforts with the technology and project management teams using Agile methodologies

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of product experience within online media, or at an online content publisher, and preferably some experience in the healthcare field. Experience with CME or comparable professional online learning platforms is not required, but would be a huge plus.
  • Experience and demonstrable achievements in driving engagement through content and presentation
  • Ability to break down and analyze internal workflow processes and identify/specify ways that technology and tools can improve throughput and efficiency.
  • A curious and highly motivated self-starter who can work effectively across cross-functional teams and also make things happen independently
  • Passion for creating user-centric digital and interactive experiences
  • Experience working with and analyzing user metrics and turning them into actionable insights, with previous use of Google Analytics desired
  • Detail and results oriented, able to write detailed specs and analyze data to justify product decisions and apply key learnings
  • A strong communicator with great written and verbal skills
  • Up to date and knowledgeable about the latest trends, innovations and best practices in the online media or learning space
