Account Manager

The City Numbers® sales team is growing. We are seeking an energetic, ambitious and goal orientated Account Manager to join us in managing some of our key partner accounts. The role will be extremely varied, you will be tasked with managing, nurturing, building and retaining existing customers and partners.

Reporting to the Sales and Operations Director, City  Numbers - is responsible for driving revenues, operations, commercials across a selected range of accounts within City Numbers portfolio.

The role will be predominantly desk based as you seek to enhance relationships with your existing accounts / partners with the focus of up/cross sell.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain/retain existing customer base and incrementally grow existing revenues
  • A relationship builder with multi levels of decision maker and influence growing successful long term business relationships
  • Excellent communication & sales process skills
  • Ability to manage customer requirements, build strong relationships with accounts face to face and on the telephone
  • Strong time management, organisational and prioritisation skills
  • High attention to detail with computer literacy
  • Provide weekly reporting against KPI’s and manage all contact and opportunities through internal company systems
  • Retain account base and convert new opportunities each month to achieve YTD billing
  • Manage opportunity through sales cycle, gathering requirements, submitting proposals, contract negotiation to grow existing account base Increase and maintain a healthy pipeline

Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years account management experience (preferably in the telecoms area) with the ability to win, retain & grow existing accounts (against targets)
  • Self-motivated, driven and result focused team player
  • Highly persuasive, consultative and competitive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Being proactive, hands on & able to think outside of the box
  • Existing experience or knowledge of technologies such as Inbound International Numbering Services, Unified Communications, Telephony, C etc. would be highly desirable.
